Scope of work

Four services covering every step of going global

Each service is presented as rationale — our role — outcome. If a step is not needed, we will tell you plainly.

In detail

Four services for going-global companies and teams

Each service can be started independently. Most engagements begin with the most pressing one.

01

Digital foundation

Websites, internal systems, integrations and copy — the base that lets customers find you and lets operations actually run.

Digital work is written and shipped by Earcent directly. No subcontracting.

What clients run into

  • A website that looks dated, loads slowly on mobile, and offers no enquiry path
  • Scheduling and inventory held together by Excel and verbal handovers; books and stock rarely reconcile
  • Vendor-built systems with no one available to maintain or modify them

Our concrete work

  • On-site observation first to map the actual process — no off-the-shelf templates
  • Websites, systems, integrations and copy built and shipped by the same lead
  • Mobile-first, fast-loading, with baseline SEO in place
  • Source and data handed over, with an owner-readable operating manual

What done looks like

  • Customers see a site that loads and accepts enquiries
  • Orders, inventory and reconciliation run in the system; the daily report is on mobile
  • Adjustments to copy or features continue to be handled by the same lead

02

Offshore company formation

Entity formation, banking and structure advice in Hong Kong, Singapore and similar jurisdictions — without you flying out to deal with intermediaries.

Formation and banking are executed by licensed firms. Earcent owns selection, coordination and progress control.

What clients run into

  • Unclear on jurisdiction, banking and ongoing compliance — concerned about being led in circles
  • Significant fees paid up front, with no clarity on the subsequent steps
  • Worries that the structure is non-compliant and will complicate payments and tax later

Our concrete work

  • Judge first whether formation is needed, and where
  • Coordinate licensed secretarial firms and banking channels; follow up on each milestone
  • Translate the jargon and brief you at every key step
  • Hand over a post-formation compliance checklist: filings, tax, banking

What done looks like

  • Each step, its rationale and the required documents are explicit
  • Progress is visible against a checklist; nothing is left hanging
  • A readable plan for ongoing compliance is in your hands

03

Export paperwork and customs

Export eligibility, product compliance and documentation, run cleanly with an AEO-accredited broker.

Filings are executed by the AEO broker. Earcent owns the compliance judgement, coordination and progress tracking.

What clients run into

  • Uncertain whether the product can be exported and what certifications apply
  • Documentation gaps leading to cargo being held at port, missed deadlines and penalties
  • Previous brokers that only process forms, without mapping the full chain

Our concrete work

  • Map the product category, target markets and the qualifications each requires
  • Work with an AEO-accredited broker to keep each shipment's documentation clean
  • Institutionalise the records your team should retain
  • Provide a risk checklist by product and destination port

What done looks like

  • Clarity on whether goods can ship, how, and with which files
  • Documentation is no longer a last-minute scramble; delivery dates hold
  • When something goes wrong, a defined response path is in place

04

Overseas market, zero to one

Target-market judgement, acquisition channels, English content and enquiry conversion — delivered in landable steps, not in slide decks.

Market outcomes cannot be guaranteed. What is committed is that every step is deliverable and reviewable.

What clients run into

  • Many competing claims about markets, channels and platforms; hard to know whom to trust
  • Previously purchased an "overseas master plan" that did not translate into action
  • No in-house capability to write English content that converts, so overseas leads slip away

Our concrete work

  • Validate cheaply first: focus on one or two markets and procurement-style buyers
  • Set up a light English presence and enquiry path that you can own and adjust
  • Run the first real customers with you and review what sticks
  • Close each phase with a one-page list of next actions — nothing vague

What done looks like

  • A small-step execution checklist, not a 40-slide deck
  • Overseas enquiries have a stable entry point and response flow
  • After the first three real customers, you see where to apply more effort

FAQ

Questions you may have

How are timeline and quality safeguarded?

Earcent takes a limited number of engagements each year and assesses timelines before signing. Milestones and acceptance checks are in the proposal; progress is shared weekly. If the volume is not workable, we decline rather than overcommit.

Formation and customs require licensed firms — where do you fit in?

Those items are executed by licensed partners. Earcent selects appropriate partners, coordinates, follows up and translates their professional output. One lead stays with you throughout.

As a non-technical client, how do I assess the quality of delivery?

Acceptance is written in verifiable terms — for example, "the website loads on mobile and submits an enquiry", "the day's dispatch list is visible on your phone". You judge outcomes, not the code.

Can individuals or small teams be supported?

Yes. Independent-site sellers, cross-border teams and solo sellers typically start with the digital base and a clean payment route — we give you a judgement and the cheapest way to validate first.

Can we work together remotely?

Yes. Most communication is by WeChat, email and remote meetings; digital delivery is fully online. On-site visits are scheduled when a key milestone genuinely requires one.

What does pricing look like?

There is no flat price list, because each client starts from a different position. After the diagnosis, an itemised written quote is issued. Alignment is reached before work begins; mid-engagement additions are priced before they start.

Unsure which service you need?

Send the situation and we will outline what to pursue, what can wait, and what can be skipped.
